What it comes with: One plastic LCD screen cover, silicone case + hard plastic shell (contoured so that the shell fits perfectly over the silicone), 2″x2″ cleaning cloth, OtterBox “installation card”

Pros: very solid design, no loss of functionality, looks great with my Black E72. This case is thick enough so that the camera is no longer sticking out on the back side. With the case on, the camera is virtually flush with the hard plastic, if not a tiny bit recessed.

Cons: I can’t think of any.

Other: Though the design does eliminate a lot of the risk of scratching up the camera lens, it is still exposed. I might’ve liked a mini camera lens protector or something.

I am very happy with this case. The hard plastic + silicone combo looks and feels great–I don’t have to worry about getting fingerprints on the shiny back panel of the phone, and it’s possible that the power & side buttons have better feel/responsiveness with the case on.

This case is a perfect fit for Nokia E72. All side buttons and power buttons are covered by the case and still completely functional. The 2 layer protection this case provides feels more secure, though it makes the phone slightly thicker. It is very made and looks professional, unlike some cheap looking silicone skins that I have seen on some phones. The plastic part of the case covers the sides and back. I though, the silicone part of the case, that protrudes outside of the plastic casting in back will provide a non-slip grip for the phone when placed on flat sloped surfaces. But apparently, it is not protruding enough to serve that function (see picture to understand better). Also, the plastic cover is almost in line with the protruding camera module on back. So, there is still possibility of scratching the lens if not careful. No protection for the lens from this case as such.

Nonetheless, it is a great case and gets 5 stars for it.

The case is sturdy and well made. Once put on the E72, it is secured to the cellphone itself. It is two parts, a silicon case all over the cell phone and a hard plastic that wraps itself around on the back. It is not loose at all.

To me it has two minor flaws. On the back there’s a square of silicon exposed. I don’t know if this was designed to show the brand of the case (Otterbox), or to provide friction on the case on flat surfaces. If the second was meant to be, it doesn’t serve it’s purpose well as other reviewer pointed out, and would have been a simple great addition. The other minor flaw is that I used to have the strap on my E72 (the one included by Nokia), and this case doesn’t provide a hole openning for my strap. On the other hand, the case covers the corners (where the strap is), so I think it is probably better to sacrifice the strap then protection. As these as minor flaws, it deserves the full 5 stars.

I would definetely buy it again and highly recommended for anyone looking to protect your E72. High quality case, well worth the money.

It also comes with a screen protector, just in case.

I have been using this case for about 2 months now. So far, I’m immensly satisfied with it, I couldn’t ask for much more.

The case comes in two pieces, a silicone “skin”, and a hard shell that covers the back half of the phone. The silicon skin fits the phone very snugly. All the holes line up where they are supposed to on the phone and it doesn’t shift. The skin also has plugs that fit over the headphone and power jacks, which I guess could be good for keeping dirt out. The hard shell also fits to the skin very snugly.

The hard shell wraps around the back of the phone and it’s sides, leaving the screen and keyboard open. Another point noted by others is that the case levels out the back of the phone making it a little less likely that you will scratch the camera lens.

As far as actual functionality of the case, I have dropped my phone on several occasions on pavement and concrete, etc. It has served it’s purpose well. It kept my phone safe and scratch free. I’d say the case could protect your phone through almost any “usual” accident such as falling out of your pocket on to hard floors, etc.

The thing that I like most about this case is that it totally makes the phone look different. The phone still looks sleek and impressive. In fact, I feel that the phone looks better with the case on. I have had several friends ask me if I got a new phone after I put this case on. The case makes the device feel much more durable as a whole. It doesn’t add much width to the phone so it still slips in and out of the pocket with ease. This how Nokia should of made it in the first place! SO worth it.

One flaw is that the case adds just enough width to the phone that it interferes with plugging in the headphones. I also saw this problem in another review. The problem is when you plug in the headphones they sometimes don’t fit all the way in to the headphone jack. Mine works fine but it could be a problem with headphones that have larger plugs.

The case also requires periodic cleaning. I often take my phone to work and it collects some dust. But the fact I’m taking my phone in to work speaks for itself.

    In Summary:

The case is well worth the money. It does what it is supposed to do and in my opinion adds some aesthetic beauty to the device. I would highly recommend it. The defects really are pretty minor. I don’t see how you could find much of a better case for day to day protection against the occasional drop or bump.

It’s an awesome product, comes as a two piece set with just the rubber skin, as well as a solid plastic shell that goes over most of the skin, it makes the back flush with the camera, which is a plus.

The rubber skin covers both the charging port as well as the headset port, with something like a flap plug, which is really good at keeping the dust out when not in use, as well as easy to pull off to use. All the buttons on the side and the power button on top are actually better to press because of it.

It really is an awesome product, makes the phone feel less damageable, though you don’t get the pretty back, but it’ll definitely take the abuse.

    Highly Recommended
